it's sad to see that Judo is becoming an art of throws for many people out there ... Judo has chokes, arm locks, pins, sweeps, guard passes, etc ... to say that a Judoka has no submission grappling skills is very wrong ... it's not easy to submit someone in 10-15 or less seconds once you hit the ground ... that's the average amount of time you're given in a Judo tournament to submit someone and that's the amount of time you have in a real life fight/situation .. no one gives you 5 minutes
