  • I don't like the slow tempo! In You tube there isn't a Very good Piano version of this fabolous song!

  • Great! I'm planning on learning this piece, and your vid is really helpful. Well done!

  • I like the slow tempo. Most people played too fast. Very good here. Thanks for sharing.

  • Very Good!

  • Meilleure version de toutes celles trouvées sur You Tube. Suis en train d'apprendre à la jouer et bravo, vous êtes un bon exemple !

  • 5/5 best one on Youtube. I can see that you are properly experiencing the music for what it really is and none of the other's I've seen performing this piece are doing that. Great work.

  • I like the way you play it.

I used to play this 35 years ago.

You're on the right way, don't worry.

  • Even if it is played slowly is one of the best ones I found on youtube. Be carefull with you left hand, it will hurt if you keep playing that way.

  • sounds good, but in my experience adjudicators like this a tad faster. try for a bit faster. you've got good technique though.

  • great job ^_^

  • You should update this playing as an advanced! =3

  • hi! congrats! this is good for a beginner! and dont pay attention to those who say bad things, the most important thing that i see in your vid and that most ppl dont have even if they are prof. is passion! u feel the music and enjoy it! dont ever lose that ,its really rare...dont stop studying! i really think u have talent! trés joli. hehe... adieu! ana

    :D

  • since when music, art...feelings.... have a time, LocalHost6 ?

  • I'm very amazed that you are beginner at such age, and GOOD LUCK if you feel like music gives you piece and your soul finds expression and rest in it.

  • Very good as a beginner! It's a very nice piece of music, easy to play, wonderful.

  • un po' più veloce e fai risaltare di più i piai e i forti facendo notare i crescendo e i diminuendo e i rallentamnti

  • not bad at all. i'm lookin at the notes. was tryin to figure out if you ply that c and e that starts it with the same hand. lol. def yes.

  • NOOOB !

  • Good! man, it'svery good for a beginner...

If i can, i want to give you an advice: relax your hands, especially the left one when you play the bass keys.

  • i think i shout played faster. it is more interessting then. i had learnd it in my 2nd year and i don't think it is so difficult and i play it much faster.

  • I totally disagree....and it does say "played by a beginner."

    Show a little respect.

  • I think he is better than you by miles. Way, way, way better.

    So what was your point?

  • this is the noob version .. quit lyfe now

  • так нельзя играть это произведение!

  • keep playing you are on the right track. But maybe this piece is a little to hard for you because it's a 5th year

  • 5th year?? I played it in my 2nd year!

That's why it was so damn difficult. :)

  • Amazing. I have started taking piano lessons one year ago and I am far behind you. Great interpretation.

  • Excellent, thank you! Keep playing!

  • very nice playing.

I'm 48 (same age as susan Boyle:) my talent stops at the age comparison though.:(

Is this The grade 4 for Trinity college (2009-2011?

    Tony

  • I think it is too slow here and loses dramaticity

  • this short song is so hard to memorize. i played it years before and I never played Bach again. I dont like Bach.

  • haha, why :P?

  • you were amazing, despite all of the slightly negative comments. i am currently working on this piece and it is such a bugger. but you did great.

  • Sorry if this sounds picky, but in my music, there are some accents in the second cresendo

  • well done, jean-pierre. i see you're 48. yeah, well, i'm 47 and i've just (re)started piano lessons. i've been "promoted" to "My First Bach" and i see this piece is in it. hope to catch up with you soon. nice job. paul

  • think you should put pedals on every beginning of the bars, it'll sound nicer. well at least for me :D

and the last note, the dominant chord, it'll sound much nicer if you apply the arpeggio.

    anyways good work :)

  • the tempo was a little off-course in some places. Your ritardando at the end was done a little too early.

  • Well-played. I would only suggest to possibly bring down the dynamics of the right hand in most places and hit the first two notes of the left hand in an almost staccato fashion before hitting the third legato. I think this brings out the melody a bit more. Of course this is only my interpretation - again, well-done.

  • The two "quick tones" on your left hand should be softer.

  • you try playing the piece. its hard.

  • that's the easiest piece ! created - by BACH. . . EASIEST.Just for memorizing its hard, but for kids (5-7y.o.) only ! check this (copy, paste & search in Utube)out. Sergio Tiempo as a child -

  • Memorizing this piece isn't hard. This actually is a hard piece, incase you dind't know, both technically and artistically. Might I mention that the pause before that last chord was a little too much.

  • Hello Very nice i really enjoy

Can you do me a favour i can´t find the partiture of this prelude you know some how where i can find it i mean in free pay charge.

    Very appreciate.

    Rui.

  • very well played.

  • Un pianiste de grand talent & agréable à écouter. A quand la Tournée au CANADA ?

    Bonne Année 2008

  • Originally written for lute (and allegedly not transcribed by Bach himself) it nevertheless sounds fantastic on piano. And it's not a beginner's piece, I would say (easy) intermediate. Very well played!
