Im not saying its not impressive.. but you want your car to be on the verge of popping up when you launch.. it looks like they are leaving a lot on the table. .1 or .2 off a 60' time does a lot for you in the actual time. Id be willing to bet the springs/coil overs in front are not very soft if its running a full slick/1000hp and doesnt even hint at popping up.

well not really. they had full blown race vq motors stroked to over 4.0 liters that made 1800bhp on the dyno. the vq is a much better platform and can make and hold more power than the 2jz. the world will see when they come back out.

Around 6000, but the problem is most kits only allow for each turbo to be pushing minimal boost. Sometimes you get lucky but most bolt on kits state a gain of 150hp is regular which is pitiful because I've got a stage 3 supercharged z with around 490whp

superchargers suck because the tuning is, well limited. you can't press a button in your car to up the amount of air being pushed into your engine to get maybe 200+ more hp, and not be on bottle at the same time.

i wouldn't say superchargers suck... after all, the "fastest" cars in the world are supercharged. i prefer superchargers because frankly, i think they're more fun. who doesn't like instant boost without turbo lag? my buddy drives an '87 grand national with a t72. it's fun for awhile, but i'm happier with my s-trim on my 99 cobra. crisp throttle response and less than half the price. both turbos and superchargers have their place...

twin internal clutch auto/manuals no longer lose more power tothe wheels then sticks, the axctuallylose less if they are lighter. plus they shift about 6 times faster then the fastest human can. faster one currently shifts .06 or 3 times faster then you blink
