When you do something really well, suddenly you think you can do all sorts of things. I mean just take a look at The Spirit. What I am getting at is that whilst you may have created something cool, and you are certainly still gifted with your hands, it does not mean that you are a director. This movie can only be good if you allow other gifted people into the fold and let them do their thing. I think that is what Mike did with Hellboy, and allowed Guillermo to do his thing and turn in quality.

I will say that their needs to be a better balance between live action and CGI, many of the movies lately have been going CGI crazy, and it ends up making the movie look cheesy.

It would be cool if Chris Nolan works on this project. But I agree Saw started off intelligent. But I still think this project should be given to Chris Nolan. Spawn has more potential in terms of script than Batman does. This is what i think about they should do, keep Michael Jay White as Spawn and give him a push, get the voice actor who's playing as Kratos from the God of War series if they don't like Michael's voice, make the taste of the movie like a horror but mixed with The Dark Knight(Batman), and pay Hanz Zimmer to do the soundtracks or else it won't be a huge success

Sorry but The Rock as Spawn???? Can't see that at all I have nothing against the rock though, I actually thought he was good in Doom but for Spawn I don't think he makes any sense at all....I thought Michael Jai White did an incredible job as Spawn and his deep musky voice matched with the character well...I know in the new film Spawn is going to be mute but Jai just brought a great killer attitude and dark charisma to the role in my opinion.
