1) how do u hack zelda on the N64? never seen anything about it otehr than videos of pplz mods.

2) The textures look the same quality on here as in the N64 game.

1. its not on n64 its most probably project64 which is an emulator for n64.

2. the textures do look better, had this mod myself. only the video quality is shit

so you want to know how to get the rom info?

basically you have to crack open the game, there is a flash module. you can read out the data and get the game infos to launch them on some emulator.

the rom info ins basically text, so you can change some stuff to make "cheats" for it. thats the hacking part. all you need to know is, which integer you have to change to get the effect

actually i already knew all that. I was wondering where to get reference materials that say what is what in the LoZ OoT rom. like what is the maximum stack size of deku nuts or something.

or if someone has a program that can help me find out what certain things are in a rom that would be helpful too.

its not plug and play for pj64 needs some adjustments but still is possible

dunno if they brought a newer version of pj64 though. on the one i used it did work. there are some "how to" manuals on the web also

There is a difference, it might be only a little. The graphics are crisper and clearer, and the textures are slightly better. It's kinda like clicking the HQ button on youtube videos. You can't really tell the difference unless they're like side-by-side or something.
