sofie is one of my favourite characters. don't know why exactly but she's kind of a cool secondary character. and her outfits are the shit :D <3 bride's right in having her revenge, but honestly, this scene is cruel. poor sofie. i hoped she would at least keep one arm. the bride's a motherfucker xD and one more time europe withheld a scene. or maybe US too, i don't know. is japanese the only version it's in?

This is in the Japanese Version (because apparently they can handle more violence than us Americans). The reason why this was cut from the final par of the film was because it's inconsistent when Sophie rolls down the hill and has one of her arms.

It's actually kind of weird that they would keep those scenes that were cut in the American version in the Japanese version. I mean, even though anime and what not is pretty violent, usually when it comes to extreme violence depicted in movies and games, they have a tendency to be a little bit more sensitive about it than Americans. One example of this is in Resident Evil 4 when they cut out the scene you can see of Leon getting killed with a chainsaw.
