ps- Not all US states require pedaling capability, just a 50cc max, and all the lights. (Hawaii) No annual registration or insurance, just a one time licensing.

Removing the peda;s makes it illegal you have to be able to pedal it in order to drive it on the road without having to have a cycle endorsement insurance turn indicators brake lights head lamps etc. When you get stopped hope you just get a warning unless you are in anowher country other than USA.

too bad the audio drops almost completely off when you finally get around to explaining the drive setup. But typical for Youtube videos. Engine way too far off center, making balance horrible. Should have frame mounted and used a jackshaft or one of the shifter kits available.

It's really not clear about your drive system, which is the most important part (sprocket). Your audio is bad during that part. And you ramble way too much about the seat and exhaust. Who cares.

Chances are the lawnmower engine has a vertical shaft, so it would be hard to adapt it to a horizontal shaft type. Pick a weedeater or chainsaw engine up somewhere, chances are it will be easier.

So the motor is hanging by a piece of 12 gauge steel about 1ft away from the bike. That motor has to weigh about 25 pounds so the bikes weight is off center. If I were you I would weld a frame in the center of the bike to mount the motor, then its weight would be more centered. This is a really cool bike but I wouldn't trust this at 60mph maybe 10mph.

its good to see i'm not the only one out there who is smart enough to use the gears of the bike.

but i have all 21 gears in use.

if you put the engine on the other side and and run the chain to the front kogs(where you have the pegs) you will get use of all the gears

P.S. i'm to scared to get to top speed i've done about 90km/h

i hav a 2 stroke weed wacker motor and im gonna try something, basically u mount the motor but dont let it touch the tire, (this is friction drive motor style) and u use a spring on the other side. use one of the shifter knobs as a locking mechanizm to pull the motor down on the tire when u need it.

you could have just clamped it to the bike with bolts instead of bolting through the frame. 4 bolts with locking washer and locktite would have been perfect with a dense rubber dampener between the metal.
