You painted a real picture and told a story with this one - in terms of painting, it was more imressionistic, not as abstract as the one I didn't "get" :-) There's enough imagery there to write a musical or opera.
Keep on like this girl, you're on a winning streak.
You paint such wonderful word pictures with your lyrics..."popcorn wasteland", "sitting duck town", "trapeze door sigh"...I LOVE the depth in these! And the tiara - I knowed you was a princess! :)
First, cool event. Second, that is a beautiful drive. Three I am really glad to hear you still have hope. Beautiful song, but after telling Bill that I always can alleast project my own thoughts of what I think you mean into your words, I will have to listen to this one a few more times to see if I can understand it all. I am sure like all the others there is a tremendous message in the song.
Hehehe... I get this one, it's brilliant - full of imagery and life. Situations and relationships I can relate too and understand. It certainly could be listened to many times and each time you will see some new aspect of the characters lives and imagine how they got there. It's the reading between the lines time :-)
Hi Amy its me Gaby remember? I didn't know you had such a great voice! It's really good! But...we should put on our alphabet rap!HAAAAHAAAHAA! Anyway I listen to alot of your songs now;they are really pretty.
I wanted to hear more about the queen and the cowboy. I thought that was a good opening scene, and I liked the verse and chorus melodies, but the bridge got all weird on me. Since there's already a popular song called After Midnight, how about Popcorn Wasteland?
I hear you on the title, and I did think about that, but "After Midnight" was the most appropriate. I like "Popcorn Wasteland;" I will think about it. As for the bridge, the dissonance was a purposeful choice: to point up that it's not necessarily easy to keep the dream alive. Sometimes you've got to fight for it with everything you've got. Even then it can be bittersweet, but it's one of the most triumphant things a human being can do in the face of rough circumstances.
Oh! I am the first to comment here! Your new song, is very good and you are singing it very well. You have a beautiful voice. Your guitar play is also very good. Five stars!

Beautifully somber. Enjoyed the touch of twang.
