Bob Gainey does agree! He can't say bad things about his own players in the media and expect to unload them. Duh. He tried to trade him last summer and I'm sure he's is trying again this summer. But no one wants him. That's what happens when team mates don't want to play with him . He is not nearly a good enough player to put up with the distraction and bad on-ice decisions. Poor guy just doesn't think the game well and he is too weak and cowardly to be in an enforcer role.

(This is more than we can say for Sergei Kostitsyn, apparently - which is just sad.) Lapi might not be the best player on the team, but he works hard, hits hard, scores occasionally, is a pretty good penalty killer, and he is the closest thing we have to an instigator. He is one of the most interesting players to watch on the team, and he is young and will learn.
