Most people don't realize, Paul and Peter began performing Walking Out On Love and Let Me Into Your Life live during the mid-1970s when they were in The Nerves.

This is not the correct studio version that appeared on The Beat self-titled hit album from 1979. This is a demo version.

The studio cut doesn't do The Beat justice. These guys were far better live than they were in the studio.

Cool power pop. Why crappy bands like Journey hit the big time while way more fun and talented bands like this hardly made it is simply crazy.
