I didn't know there's anything about 'the Greek game' and 'the gate of the Olympia' that's deserving of respect. Friends and coworkers thought Greece was a democratic country but now they think its more of a police controlled state.
Write to Greece Ministry of Tourism to express concerns with their aggression and let them know suppression of freedom of speech does not boost tourism.
