we in england dont do just as much deer shooting as you do in england when we do its usualy in scotland ive never been it costs too much but i think i would have taken that one and yes i would have liked to see the fight after as well but when peaple have guns i would have kept my distance haha;]

Your not gonna have a week to get it cause the next guy nearest you will take it lol....good hunting and good choices. If you have gotten a real nice buck before then you pass on those ones early in the season.
Well im a PA hunter also and i definately would have taken him.Where i hunt he would be a trophy in anyones standards but like carman said. hes from iowa and they get pretty big there but he would still be hard to pass on even in iowa.
I guess it depends where you are hunting. I' m from Iowa and I agree with the hunter on this one. We would judge that deer as a grower. He is a young deer with great potential. Let him go and someone later will get a bigger trophy. If you are just looking for back straps then shoot a doe and manage your hunting area wisely. Nice call
