You make a lot of assumptions don't you! My partner and I were attending the WSSD in Jo'burg. This was a WSSD organised visit to a wildlife orphanage, where animals are cared for, and when possible are returned to wild. IF these animals had NOT been rescued they would have already been dead!!
One of the golden rules of returning animals to the wild is not Human imprint them, (Habituate)
So if these cubs are to be returned to the wild why are they Habituated?
What benefit is this it to the animal?
Why are all major consevation groups against cub interaction?

Why are these cubs not with their mother?
What will happen to these cubs when too big to be cuddled by tourists?
Over 1000 captive bred lions were shot last year for "Sport" The one you cuddle could be one of them!
Now that they trust humans they will be shot by so called hunters sometimes it takes a number of shots before they die of their painful wounds!
Your money helps to pay for this slaughter!
