I really like how she explained why she did what she did..Ex: taking the cup of soup and adding it to the egg first, with out her explaining why, I would have most likely just added the egg and ruined the entire soup. So thank you for getting into details for people like me who take short cuts.
@randywinery if you use a chickenstock that has the salt allready in it, then no :) usually its in the stockcubes. if you use a homemade fresh chickenstock without the salt then you need to add some.
I've made this for a dinner party and for a cold winter night at home with the family in front of the TV. It's one of my standards now and makes a nice break from French Onion soup.
