@DrakeFelling: You know what, this game may not live up to Diablo b/c of the lack of multiplayer, but this is coming from a development team that has already had one great game ripped out from under them and they had to get a game out fast to make enough money and do what they really want to do. This game launched at $20 and has been on sale for as low as $5. It is a great at what it tries to do. The mulitplayer enabled version will be a real competitor to Diablo or any other game.

I don't like the mix between bloody and cartoonish... If I want to play something cartoonish I would play Ragnarok Online... and something bloody or dark would be of course any diablo game.

I haven't tried this game, and so far I will not be able since have a Mac, but after watching this game's gameplay video I no longer want to... I just don't feel it.

P.S.: Realeasing a Mac version at the same time as the PC version of Diablo 3 is pure orgasm. :D

Seems like D1 was the darkest one, it was more horror, while D2 was more arcade-ish, still with some horror, but just not as much (orig is my fave lol).

idk what D3 is gonna end up like because the outdoors look much more colorful unlike the dreary look of D2's outdoors, or the creepy look of Diablo 1's tristram.

Its a shame they got rid of Matt Uelmen.

He was a great musician, and we wont even see the real Tristram masterpiece from the original.

For now it's just a offline rpg, in the future(1 year) they will work on a Torchlight MMO or smtg like that. I think they wanna see if this will be a succsess and based on the sales they will decide if a torchlight mmo is a good ideea.
