If, like me, you turn off lights as you go you'll shorten their life by about 80%! Apparently they need to be on for 10 to 15 mins, which is a pain when you're only using a room for 5 mins. Leave the light on and go back in 10 minutes, or turn it off and lose loads of money on replacement bulbs? Both a complete pain in the backside!
And now to the reason I'm here...
...I'm gathering parts for my own CNC, think I may use LinuxCNC too.
I switched to Linux and EMC a year ago, after two years of using Mach3, and I've never been happier. EMC has a lot more of the features I'm used to, from running commercial machines, and it's constantly in development to add more. Best of all, it's FREE. :)
Yeah - Skinted. Energy Saving bulbs wore my eyes out.
