This is my gift to all the children out there and there parents with this problem.

It's a simple Chinese remedy. I can't beleive doctors don't know this.

"Wrap a rubber band around the middle finger of both hands"....it's that simple.

Do not leave the rubber band on too long....less than ten minutes should do or when the bleeding stops..whichever is sooner.

The bleeding will stop within minutes. This will work on the vase majority of nose bleeds....I hope it works for you.

what works for me everytime is i get a wet paper towel and fold it up and put it under my top lip to stop the blood flow to the nose

You do not put a tissue in your nose. The fibers of a tissue will scrape the wound, causing it to bleed more. Best thing to do is: get an ice pack (or just ice) and place it on the back of your neck (aka the nape). Tilt your head forward just a bit and pinch your nose, while pushing a bit towards the face. Try not to swallow the blood and to spit it out. Do not blow your nose. Put petroleum jelly in your nose after its done.

nosebleeds occur with me alot ever since i was a wee lad so i went to the docter and he told me this he said heres what im going to do for you

he pulled out what looked like a match so i said whoa!

then he said this is no match its sulfuric acid then he put it in both of my nosterals a couple days ago it is suppode to burn the inside of your nose to stop it from bleeding..

i am waitong for results he said wait about a week and they should go away!

@Duinyuhmom15 DO NOT DO THAT AGAIN! If you do it more than 3 times it will burn a hole in your nose! I suffer from chronic nose bleeds and you should not have to do that again. I've had it done 3 times, and now when I get a cold, i bleed for 2 hours non-stop. Its called cauterization

I went to the doctor after experiencing frequent nose bleeds and this was the same advice he handed over to me, though he didn't mention a tissue and he said 5 minutes rather than the 2. But this does work, and the truth is I only got these because I was picking at my nasal area frequently - I've stopped doing so for over a year now and have not received once since.

you could

either do what this guys doing or what i do which works (for me anyway) get a rubber(elastic) band and wrap it around your pinky finger fairly tight,
