So I received this video a while back, and I was a little shocked about it being a 220+ avg site, then I read some of the comments. I'm proud to say that at 17 I held a 200 avg this summer league, and a 189 average last fall/spring season. I'm aiming this year to keep that 200 up. I might just take a look at the site sometime soon. Maybe join.
You gotta know I am going to be harping about WAHSAM again. They have ruined the sport of bowling forever. Now when I see bowlers carry a 220 average all season I figure they arte rolling on walled up lanes with WAHSAM in the flat gutters. And the Big problem is the Lane owners will not tell you the have the WASHAM installed. When you go to a house and see two dozen bowlers with 200+ averages and 300 games just about every week, you just know the alleys are rigged for high scores.
@TeamBrunoBowling Dude...i'm 65...have bowlers elbow...throw 12lb balls...and average 172. But that's a real 172, not an inflated walled up wahsam average. What business do I have jaw waggin with 220 average bowlers? They do not want to hear what I have to say anyway. I have tried before about getting rid of wahsams...they don't want to hear it. All they care about is being able to brag about their average and all their 300 games. WAHSAM adds 20 pins to your average. Walled alleys add 20 more.
@SlatebowlAllStars Yeah bowling changes every year, some things we like, somethings we don't. Somethings we can change and somethings we cant. But, regardless of your success or failure in these matters, your experience as a bowler is a valuable resource. This site's name may fool some people, it isn't just for the elite bowlers, it is for bowlers who wish to remain competitive regardless of average. It is for those who love bowling as a sport and wish to see it grow and prosper. h
@TeamBrunoBowling I see the "Sport" of bowling moving away from USBC league play and into the Sport Shot leagues. The USBC did nothing about the wahsam back in the 90s when they had the chance. By allowing the wahsam to be installed in the flat gutters they ruined the sport forever. Now any 200+ average is suspect. The promo for the wahsam tell the owners NOT to tell their bowlers it's in their gutters..."let them think they are that good." You are Not rolling on honest alleys.
@SlatebowlAllStars Feel free to browse the site introduce yourself in the "groups - develop your game section" let me know of features you like /don't like. start a blog talking about your dislike for the wahsam device. I don't hate! Everyone's opinions on growing the sport of bowling are invaluable!
@TeamBrunoBowling Yep, thanks. I'm looking around now...added a pic and a video from my other HajaLanes YouTube channel. Can't find a place to add a link to my Do No Harm web site. Really would like to add that link to my profile.
@HajaLanes Check the "edit Profile" and "memberships tab" and there should be a spot to add a website as well as go to "bookmarks" in the tools menu to add an actual hard link in the site's database for others to browse.
@TheNotDone I would say that we are not a bowling ball review website. We are a social networking site dedicated to the sport of bowling and mature bowlers. We are dedicated to sharing stories, tournaments, leagues, and solutions to bowling industry problems. We are in BETA testing right now and would enjoy your input by helping us develop as an international community for bowling. We don't sell bowling equipment but support ANY and ALL bowling industry product/service compnies. Join up, go bowl
@thetrumpetman91 Try to login now. I think I fixed it. Please remember everyone, we are in BETA testing so bare with the slow downs. And thanks for helping me test this.
@ heine71 That's right. I don't plan on it becoming that way either. We are still in beta testing mode. When I get it working 100% right I will have the content in order. We are still looking for around 70 more beta testers. Feel free to join up.
@DarthMunch I saw bowlspace for the first time; its a waste of a bowler's time. iAverage220 is a place to meet other bowlers, find ways to improve their game, a place to find good paying tournaments. iAverage220 is the only social network for Bowlers, we don't ask your religion or relationship status when you register. We don't ask you if you are looking to "hookup" with someone. We don't allow people to use the site to market non-bowling related products. We are looking to help save the sport!
Any tips for someone bowling at 20+mph wanting to slow down?
