It makes me wonder why they picked that particular place to film the attack. Someone must have thought a bridge's collapsing would be more spectacular than mere heat rays and contacted destruction.

Nonetheless, it must have been fun when they filmed the movie. Someone had the fun of renting the house for Tom Cruise for the inside scenes..

By the way Kathy07002 i thought the original version of this was a radio broadcast not a movie, and lol 07002 is ur zip code. Many ppl thought the radio brodcast was real. And i liked the video thx. The original war of the worlds was on the radio...Orson Welles faked an attack and scared the whole country...the second version was a movie made in the 50s and this version had great special effects by movie producer Stephen Speilberg...nothing was harmed at all in the making of the movie, as you know...if u live in Bayonne you will recognize the zip code and I post alot of Bayonne videos on here.

Me too...those homes are on first street and Kennedy blvd. and are still there unharmed, as is the bridge....all science fiction, like the first scary radio broadcast in the thirties...that scared people to believe there was a real attack when there never was.

I live in Bayonne and the movie was filmed on Kennedy blvd by the bridge...Aliens from outer space attacked....not egypt...why would you want to dedicate this to egyptians? Egyptians are nice people and had nothing to do with this movie....the original movie was made in the 50s and nj was invaded by aliens not anyone else. I like everybody who is good. God loves all good people too. the special effects are incredible....but stephen speilberg produced this movie, not you mr. pharaoh.
