I think its an AUM. 1999. and its a split r dv. Made by forge motorsports with a cold air induction kit which also gives it a nice grunt and hiss.

its a nice looking car that is, 180 bhp aint bad for a 1.8t you can squeeze more out of it though but i wouldnt reccomend it. ignore these pricks, the jelous ones will slate your car as they probably drive yellow puntos on a friday night with a cheesy backbox on the back. nice car mate, very neat and sounds nice.

@Evopower14 : 180bhp is stock for some 1.8T's - a 150bhp with a remap will do more than 180 (more like 190-200). A remapped 180bhp version should do about 220-ish bhp.

@ g19rps: I really hope that's the only run you did on a cold engine, these turbo's realy need to be warmed up..

have you got your split-r running fully atmospheric or are you running it part atmospheric? i have got mine on my 225 TT running part atmospheric and yours is probably twice as loud as mine, and mine has been set up to the guidelines used by forge......also how many clicks have you got yours set up at?

@corsaglen it is part atmospheric. The clicks do not make it louder but just make it handle the boost pressure better. Tightens and loosens the spring up. The reason mines is probably louder is due to the cold air induction kit, as the pipe goes all the way down to the bumper it makes an extra hiss.

i got no error codes when i put the induction kit on the car. once i had the induction kit on it, the engine gave more of a grunt and a better boosting sound. and yes the DV does sound louder with this type of induction kit due to the long metal induction pipe. ill get a better video up once i sort my brakes out and when the car is warm. this one sounds funny cos the phone mics arent that good and the car was cold.
