    Diana Flo Mary <3

  • I need this for my play at school.I'm one of the surpremes!(fake)

  • press "7" for ghetto

  • Like if ur listening In *2012*!

  • @mochanflowerz No, I'm listening to it in 5427.

  • apparently when I was little I used to do tis dance. :) I love this song so much

  • CLASS!!!!!!

  • GLEE GOT ME HERE.

  • They're all wigs. Think it over!

  • We should bring back this kind of style! Girls should do their hair like that! LOL

  • @littlekrew I beg to differ! Rather have all the hair styles from the 70s and 80s back!

  • lol

  • Lol, Diana Ross makes the weirdest facial expressions in this video.. Look at those eyes...

  • wow flo and mark are so fine

  • when i read the bluford series, i found the name of a song, look it up, and BAM! there it is.

  • Diana Ross looks creepy in this performance.

  • these are some fione! women. beautiful girls

  • i miss music!

  • i think the hollywood palace is now a night club

  • Comment removed

  • I DON'T KNOW WHO IS SINGING THIS ON TV

    BUT IT'S FUCKING ANNOYING

  • @fishspidery what

  • just keep swiching bodies as he is here dying somewhere

  • They look like Princesses...

  • the girl on the right has the best tits

  • @GAMETIME453 yes, and Diana has the best voice. For once, you know, it ain't about boobs.

  • @GAMETIME453 had

  • What does that guy have against long hair on men? The world was sexist in black and white times...

  • Comment removed

  • @rkassian He was probably making fun of hippies or something!

  • Love this. That´s music mates!!!

  • well as awsome as a classic music video can be

  • i love this song its awsome

  • the girl on the far left has the best hair i think!

  • Great classic performance, including Diana's eye popping stuff which she was told to tone down, and all those mega watt smiles, even when she's singing a song about mad at her lover who is cheating on her. Flo and Mary are great too.

  • @mhertz25 LMAO, that comment about the eyes killed me.

  • If you close your eyes and wad up a piece of paper very slowly you'll swear your listening to your admiral transistor radio with the ear plug and your dads car is going under a highway bridge and its 1965 in motown. Feel the warm breeze coming through your window as the car next to yours is playing the same song.

  • also watching this for Caitlin, rather her version . . .

  • Please correct me. It's Miss Ballard on the right and Miss Wilson on the left, no?

  • @brianallancobb From left to right - Florence Ballard, Diana Ross, Mary Wilson

  • @MotownConnoisseur30 3 of the prettiest girls you will ever see ever

  • Always thought Miss Florence the hottest and with the nicest voice (Mary Wilson had a nice voice as well, although Miss Florence was prettier), but Diana Ross was sleeping with the boss...

  • @brianallancobb which Florence clearly didn't like causing turmoil in the group. Too bad she had to past away not too long afterwords in '76.

  • Can't believe this was live. Was always a Florence Ballard fan.

  • Those who say Mary can't sing obviously has never seen this! She even manages to outshine Flo here - quite an accomplishment!

  • 40 dislikes? Really? Those 40 people must hate air, food and water too.

  • "Stop In The Name Of Love" by Caitlin Koch

  • Diana can really sing. I still think that Flo got the shaft. Diana did do a little something for Flo in the end, probaly out of guilt. But what did Mary do to help Flo? Mary is where she at today, because of Flo. I like the background, baby babaaa, baby baby. Go Flo! RIP!

  • Caitlin Koch...Rocked this on the X-factor! I prefer her version

  • Nothing classy like this anymore...I want a time machine!

  • They are so classy and chic! What happened to the times when woman didn't need to get half naked to sell records?

  • caitlin koch, from x factor...had me look this performance up

  • @johnniebravosuperhi i wish caitlin koch sang a studio version of the whole song. cus she sang the song so well. i have to say, better than the original. and with much more feeling. cus to me this sounds so much like dream girls or disney. not with the heart behind it. diana ross is classic, but caitlin sang it better and her style was unique and refreshing.

  • @johnniebravosuperhi Thats the same reason why i looked it up

  • @johnniebravosuperhi ME TOO hahaha

  • @johnniebravosuperhi LOL u got it! XD

  • @johnniebravosuperhi lool me too

  • @johnniebravosuperhi you should see the one by Mary Ann Redmond

  • @johnniebravosuperhi then u r a dumbass

  • @ren2020ky shut the fuck up, obviously you wont remember every song in the history of songs. x factor made the person remember the song or make them know which one it is. the person could be probably 10 years old so wouldn't know about this song perhaps. fucking idiot.

  • @DshankumMusic ah, u poor guy, did i make u mad?

  • Notice the vocals: were not lip-synched? Impressive!

  • That's what we call choreography!!!!1111/

  • Love that song..

  • Weird.... I saw a stop sign that said, "STOP in the name of love" LOL

  • @lueycrawford i saw one that said "STOP hammer time" xD

  • 39 people didn't stop in the naaaaaaame of loooooooooove.

  • I LOVE MOTOWN!

  • This video makes me happy.

    great..

  • 2:52 derp?

  • Beautiful all of them. I love them eyes at 1:47. Diana wanted it more and she went after it.

  • nice song to play while waiting at the stop sign

  • honestly im one of your fan,

  • Mary was The "Horniest" Member of The Supremes, Easy doesn't always = Sexy

  • Mary was the best looking member of the Supremes not Diana.

  • i never paid attention to the lyrics before. it's kind of interesting (and sad) to listen back to songs like these and realize how acceptible infidelity was for men, and the implication that a woman's ambition was to be "kept" by her man.

  • @ParaChuba thats just how it do, jealous much

  • Okay, somebody told me that it's Florence who's voice is booming in this song but I think they're completely wrong....So, Supreme Fans, who is it with that huge alto?? If I had to put money on it, I'd say it's Mary.

  • @madeyes4u

    Then you'd right.

    Mary was the alto.

Florence isn't singing in her soprano register, she's singing in a low mezzo-soprano register.

And Diana's just there, cooing away.

    I think :L

  • @RedRoosterRoad You're right about Florence, but I just went ahead and said soprano because I didn't wanna cause any confusion. Thanks for pointing that out, though!

  • que bonita canción =) buen video, esas imágenes son históricas

  • Fresh Prince of Bel Air brought me here!!!!

  • @MegaBatman33 me too

  • CLASSIC!!! That's all I can say...CLASSIC!!!

  • from the oldies

  • Timeless elegance and talent so rare. A true National Treasure they are. Love them and teir work.

  • I agree!, Miss Mary's Turn Now!!!!!, She's a National Disgrace! (Love Cindy & Miss Flo though)

  • The relentless Diana Ross bashing is "so tired" and tiring! Miss Ross is a nation treasure!

  • Love it good memz of my mum ;) xxx

  • If you want Head MrPucky, Miss Mary is the gal to talk to!

  • More Florence Ballard head shots and less Diana Ross please, I want to sleep peacefully tonight.

  • SO OLD BACK IN THE DAY

  • i love the sepremes the 36 people that disliked it are some wack!

  • I grew up hating this song.. God knows why because when I listen to it now it's really fantastic. Maybe I was hearing a bad cover?

  • I LOVE Diana Ross!!! But I only have one question...who is the lady (on the left of Diana) with the oversized chin...????

  • @thebradybunchlover florence ballard

  • @thebradybunchlover That's the late Flo Ballard and no her chin isn't enormous

  • Hey TruthQueen4L, If you want the Truth, Mary Wilsons ONLY TALENT was Shooting Ping Pong Balls into Dixie Cups from 20 Feet

  • When I was putting together songs for a playlist "Divas" on my channels, I was tempted to put this version on the list. In the end, I opted for a later one in colour.

However, this one is so sweet, as it shows how young they were and how pure their music was. All three of them were pretty young ladies, and they were all quite talented.

Of course, Diana Ross had what it took to be a superstar, but how many singers ever have that? It's wonderful to see them here when things were still good.

  • poor mary lee wilson never had it as good as she did back in the 60's

after Dian Ross left the group mary went from champagne & caviar to ripple& potted meat. everybody wasn't down with the ghetto supremes

  • Diana's Nose singing sold over 80 Million Records, Mary's Only Talent was between her thighs & Flo was an adequate Vocalist

  • Best I have seen of this song!

  • i know i'm gonna sound like some old coot, but this is the best there is, these women are beautiful, talented and not full of themselves like todays so called artists

  • SIMPLY THE BEST ....!

  • Would you thumbs-up and agree with me that the thing she does with her eyes at 1:47 is extremely disturbing?

  • To all you pro wrestling fans out there: This was the #1 song in the USA when Mark Calloway came into the world (March 24, 1965). After several identities, Mark would find his niche as....The Undertaker.

  • i just went to my sis's preschool performance and saw three kids performe this! This song rules<3

  • Diana Ross was a good friend to MJ, no wonder, cause they are/were insanely talented

  • @zibbe28 Michale Jackson was probably the most talented guy ever..And as much as you or me like Diana, she wasn;t even near to what Michael had done

  • your welcome, at least with share a taste with the Supremes so that's good

  • I bet this song would return to be number 1 in the charts if it was re-released!!

  • they are really supremes!!!!!

  • this group influenced every dragqueen born in that time, and still in to the future. their hand movements, and makeup, earrings, etc. the Supremes are still going strong at every drag bar probably in the world! thanks girls!

  • @foxolita heeeey! thats not nice! hee heeh well just think in order for the makeup to show you had to wear a lot of it, because the lights were so bright, and besides that was some time ago, and I think auntie diana did very well. ^_^ (dont ask about the auntie part, long story)

  • i love the way Diana's voice sounds at 1:37-2:10.. all were amazing singers and wonderful people.. music wouldnt be the same without these women.

  • not is " = " Glee ='(

  • this is back when people can actually sing

  • @SoulcaliburSkiller7 They had to be able to sing in order to get a record deal in the first place, back then. Autotune didn't exist, and honestly, it shouldn't exist. Nowadays, every no talent moron feels that they have the right to punish our ears.

  • @Sion6 Just Saying a Quote

  • @SoulcaliburSkiller7 It's still true!

  • @Sion6 yeah, it's true

  • @Sion6 Damn that's funny! But what you said is so true. There's not a lot of artists nowadays that can actually sing.

  • omg that thing that she does in 1:47 with her eyes is SO CREEPY

  • @giicupcake You should see her do the same thing in the video for "Come See About Me" (do a search on YT, you'll find it). Also, I once watched a documentary that had a couple women who choreographed the Supremes' dance moves. They mentioned that they told Diana to stop doing that creepy, ultra wide open eye thing when performing.

  • @giicupcake ikr! but i dont blame her.. when u get into the music like that, sometimes u dont realize what youre doing..

  • @giicupcake goddamn, you're right :x

  • @giicupcake the song is over at 147

  • The original DREAMGIRLS !

  • Dang this brings back memories from the 90s, screw Glee, nothing like remembering it the past >;D

  • The Black Beach Girls RIP Flo

  • I found this thanks to Glee<3

  • Thumbs up if you remember this from Roseanne...damn good times

  • Early in the Supremes' career as Diana still hadn't become emanciated yet.

  • @0o0Horses0o0 OK, so you're just a person who says they support stuff, and then go and assume that someone can be "turned gay", and that only brainless gays and preteen girls watch glee. I love Glee, and I'm a top University, straight student.

If you're against brainless gays, why not be against brainlessness on a wholesome scale, and think about what you write before posting them, so that you avoid contradicting yourself ("It turns you gay", "brainless sexual preteen" "I'm not anti gay").

  • @0o0Horses0o0 Suit yourself, good luck with your ignorant, sad, hateful life! ;)

  • @0o0Horses0o0 Don't be a troll, it turns you green

  • I can't look at this routine without thinking about Paul Williams who taught them these iconic moves.

  • They truly look and sing amazing, especially Mary's cleavage is the most noticeable to me at least!

  • The SupremesMary,Diana and Florence my favorite girl group now, forever and always!!!

  • I don't watch Glee, I know this song because my mom used to sing it.

  • @THEincomprehensible1.....soooooper coooool MUM!

  • @THEincomprehensible1 Exactly! My parents listened to the classics and I grew up on them as an 80's baby.

  • lol balck and white

  • WHAT BULLSHIT i am 17 i knew this song wayyy before that gay programme called glee

  • @ToFierce2handle What makes Glee gay? Just because there are a few gay people on the show doesn't make the show gay. Stop being homophobic.

  • love their hair!

  • Okay...re sound-The record company would supply the TV show with a backing track. This was a tape of the backing musicians performing the finished "released on single" version. The artist would then sing "live" over this. Sometimes they might do full mime/lipsync. Depends what the show wanted or if there were Union rules in place. This is def - live vocals & def - backing track.

  • What more can can be said than "what a talent"

  • did they sing live? it always seems like playback.

  • @LaSerpentaCanta.....live vocals over the instrumental backing track.cool

  • @LaSerpentaCanta They sang live a lot. Notice how good they sound live. Yes, they are singing live here

  • @SpazChat but the microphones are so far away! and I've seen performances where they sing and have no microphones, at least tmary and flo didn't so I guess it was playback.

  • @LaSerpentaCanta I think what they used to do is a record a live track for the show and lipsync to it

  • @LaSerpentaCanta I think they used to record live tracks for the show and lipsync to them

  • Imagine this. Singers...SINGING...no huge dance troupe, no autotune, no gimmicks, no hypersexed moves, just singing. Im not even 30 yet, but how I long for days where a great voice, wonderful harmonies, and classy performances were the norm. Now Im stuck with Britney, Katy, Rhianna and Kesha.

  • @BrandisLee Wow, you're thirty and you think like this. I thought I didn't like today's music simply because I'm an old fart -- 40 something

  • Who the fuck in their right mind would dislike this video?

  • Classic...

  • amazing...

  • Fantastic memories...great vocals

  • The 30 people that dislike this song need to "think it over"!

  • Such a lovely, and timeless song. The harmonizing of Mary and Flo's,"baby baby...baby baby" really puts this song over the top, along with Diana's soft and sweet vocals.

  • 1:48 D:

  • @diiebabsii lol

  • im singing this in my skool musical!

  • @EmmaSamBFFL coool but dont ruin it like hell plz xD

  • @EmmaSamBFFL not trying to be rude ^_^

  • A real cool sharing Dr re the "stop" move......didn't Dusty do something similar and maybe even Scot - Walker Brothers ie circa Sun ain't gonna shine anymore?

  • Paul and Melvin of the Temptations came up with the "stop" move and taught it to the Supremes right before their first television performance of this song. Not sure if that was already posted, but just thought I would share.

  • im doing this in choir and i have to admit they are way better! :)

  • And that little woman in the middle proceeded to take them ALL THE WAY !!!!!!!! The rest is, as they say, HERSTORY!!!!!

  • If only today's music was this classy. *Sigh*

  • THE BOSS

  • The Supremes were called that because they WERE! I was there, saw it happen, It was a time like no other time. It was so awesome, if you weren't born then, I feel sorry for you, because you missed out big time.

  • OMG this is the song im singin in choir right now!

  • Hey everythingx....lots more where that came from..check out Best of's, then move onto Four Tops, Martha & the Vandellas, Marvin, Stevie, Isleys, Gladys, Elgins, Temptations, Smokey...all that good 60's Motown sound. Stick with the studio versions(not live) as they pack the punch.
