@09bassman I agree that insurance should be able to be seen as cost vs. risk as opposed to required. If required, the insurance companies will be the greatest benefactors.
@brasspatriots I'm usually cheering on the Dems but I hope the health care bill gets ripped apart before the required insurance kicks in. As soon as they gave up on the public option, the bill became largely about increasing the profits of insurance companies. There are good parts that should be kept regarding making sure people who are already sick can be covered. I heard there will be a way to apply for religious exemption, so I may look into that if it comes to fruition.
