The slowest and the best version on YouTube i have found. Each note well pronounced - Menuhin doesn't want to express his virtuosity, his own ego, he only plays Bach. The rest is up to us. Beautiful.

This piece is utterly exquisite and timeless. It stirs up something deep within each time I hear it. Always going to live in that long, long list of my favorites. And though I've heard many a great violinists performing this, each beautiful in its own way, there are certain emotions that only Menuhin has done justice to.
