I'm going to get a lot of hate for this, but here it goes.

Frilly stuff is over-accentuated and there's too much filler.

It smothered the original too much. I enjoy piano, but this was a bit far.

What do you mean by "filler"? Are you referring to the original content in the track? If so, then yeah, totally. Very, VERY liberal arrangement. But what I like to do in these instances is disregard the remix aspect and take it as its own track. If you still don't like it, then cool! To each his own. I love it, personally. :)

@TVsmasher66 It's a live performance on my S90 ES. I actually love its sound but not everyone's a fan. Hopefully will have enough dough to blow on a great piano sample lib soon. :)

I always loved the forest theme in Zelda 3. It created the atmosphere of a forbidden, sacred place you where weren't supposed to tread.

It's midi input via midi controller I'm sure, but it shouldn't matter if it's programmed.

It doesn't sound acoustic to me.

0:09 Classy chromatic digression

0:21 I like how you changed these chords. It has a bit of a Super Mario Galaxy flavor to it.

0:42 The intricacies of the rolling harmonies are quite enjoyable.

1:24 the "Jaws" style buildup felt a bit out of Zelda character

1:29 while not strictly part of the source, these chords are engaging

2:10 a nice reinterpretation of the opening following by a simple, but effective ending

Oh my goodness...this is wonderful. The musical content here is amazing. If I didn't know it was a remix, I'd think I was listening to a piece by Debussy himself. It captures that impressionistic style so amazingly well. I'm just blown away by how good this is.
