guys, anyone know the name of or where i can find a video of this song that starrs a small african boy and arabs on horse back raiding a village and then the boy controls nature and bees and snakes??
@jose23july this is the same song but with different beat I think so... I thought the name was spelt like "Ignadjidje", and the video you have just described was so popular here in Sothern Africa, I'm also looking for that one too.
The more I watch this, even w/Mtimme's comment in mind, the more I'm convinced that making beautiful music that feeds the soul and comforts the heart is heavenly business, and if such endeavors prosper, mankind will benefit greatly. People who create beautiful music and sing to themselves as they do their daily work, aren't usually the sort of people who murder their brethren, and rape and poison their sisters. They generally don't kidnap children and brutally exploit and destroy them, either.
@Mtimme: Bring the mother's heart to the laborer's vision: men are now becoming intimately involved in the care of home & hearth (due to economics, and death of women.) This will bring back the HEART of fathers, who apparently had it too easy, with time on their hands to foment wars. Daily work keeps people's souls focused on doing what's good & profitable; great suffering teaches the intrinsic values of peace, harmony & authentic determination to restore what's good & valuable to mankind.
cette chanson me plait !
Just look at the picture story - it tells it all: the singer & the music illustrate/ pay tribute to (?) the time-old fate of women doing what needs doing... never mind the men who do nothing in the shade - it's as it was and how it it will always be?
OMG...this is my song...I have been lookin' for it for awhile...just luv it...Salif you are the best....thanks so much for all your wonderful songs....luv u....
