So... 1) I think Brazilian style hits illegally out of the back row a lot... men and women. 2) when the players are all so tall, it kinda takes away from the actual skill level and is just a bunch of giants doing something even though they aren't all that athletic, case in point, 3) 2:35, you call yourself an Olympic athlete? Swing block much? Walk much? I would rather watch college volleyball. The play is faster and cleaner. This is to volleyball what the NBA is to basketball. Boring.

Russia in Athens relied only to Gamova and Sokolova which happened to be on their A-game. Unlike in Beijing, they seemed to lack focus. Too bad they have a much stronger line-up last Olympics compared to this.

This game was "horrible". As a brazilian volleyball fan (I am from Brazil) I have to say I still don't understand how our team maneged to lose for Russia after that 4th set.

But in Beijing we won everything straight unbeatble, invencible. XD

i think brazil was just overexcited to win this game. they celebrated a little too early that's why they lost. anyway, both russia and brazil deserved to win the olympic gold medal...too bad the more focused chinese team beat them to it...how i wished russia played in beijing the way they played in athens though...
