This sequel was one of the best in my opionion. The one thing they need to stop doing is constantly leave the end hanging and never show the actual "end" to the movie. Just like in this one, he jumps out of the water and the movie cuts off. They need to make a clear end, then STOP with the sequels. They need to realize that constantly making more and more is what kills the ratings, this sequel was good enough to have ended the entire friday the 13th sequels.

Go watch part 2 again at the end when hes chasing the last girl around the woods then gets kicked in the balls.

I think they want it to come out around against, at least that's what Fuller said. And I'm sure we can lay our worries to rest. Derek has said in many interviews he wants to return, and considering the tremendous level of work he put into the character, I doubt they'll recast.

Kane Hodder did a little bit better than Mears. The concept of Jason running was forgotten when Jason turned into a zombie AND when Roy Burns from part 5 never ran. People forgot Jason even ran in the original films. If you think Mears was the best Jason, I understand that. It was because Mears did not play a zombie Jason. But, I do like the way Mears brought back the "Jason run" concept. Especially killing that one guy by running after him and throwing an axe at his back. Great death scene.
