There are big differences between both cars.

The SS costs > 700.000 $ more, 200 HP more, 50 kg lighter, 4 instead of 2 fuel pumps, additional air intakes under the headlights and front-spoiler-lip, more aerodynamic body, body is from carbon (first that can be tinted, in the world - thanks VW), everything on this car is 15 to 20 % above and beyond what you would get in a standard veyron and i could go on and on and on...
