  • i have a 12' kessler with their Revolution head & Oracle controller. although i love it it is quite time consuming putting it together and i really need another persons help. im thinking about getting the KC Lite 8 and just keeping it erected so i can just pull it out of my van an go. whats your opinion on stability since its not a dual rod system. plus i plan to use kessler from plate so i can mount a ball head and control up front manually. what do you think as fas as stability. great video!

  • @formattester6 Thanks! As long as the crane is properly counter balanced and the tripod head is rigid, the stability will be there. I don't know how heavy the camera that you intend to use is but, I can say that Panasonic HMC150 that I mount works well. One tip with the KC Lite is that it helps to choke up a little bit on the crane in windy situations rather than control it from the rear.

  • i would love to live there

  • cool.. thanks for the tip... is there any other links which you've used the KC Lite which i can take a look at?

  • cool... and hows the kc lite outdoors? heard it goes shaky when theres even just a slight wind. this true?

  • @ZeDBeE85 I have used it outside with a steady wind. Still a solid performance. The catch is this, instead of maneuvering the crane from the back where the weights are you have to "choke up" on the crane and operate it from the front.

  • nice... which kessler crane did you use?

  • @ZeDBeE85 I used the KC Lite 8
