Hey tiptoe! I'm on this lesson and have been so excited to be taking these lessons from u! R u still planning a candlemas video? This will be my first observance of this holiday and I'm so excited for it!
sweetie...... did you just say, invoction? lol Invocation is the word you were lookin for, I do that too all the time. no worries! keep up the good work tip toe!
I have a question I have read that I am in a cusp I was born March 19. I know I am pisces but some books say I am pisces-aries. does that mean I am both Water and Fire
Dee! Excellent! You have such beautiful energy and I'm so happy to watch your videos! The think I love most about your vids--in addition to providing a delicious overview of the topics themselves-- is that you bury lots of great little tidbits within the content and it's always a fun little treasure hunt of sorts to listen and relisten and dig up the info...thanks for making it awesome! :)
You know, I thought of something pretty interesting while watching this just now. I was remembering a time when I was little and went to the ocean with my family for a bonfire. When I got there. i wasn't attracted to the bonfire, I didn't really think about the sand, or the waves rolling in. All I can remember about that day was how the wind was blowing both warm and cool at the same time. I must have sat for an hour straight enjoying it. This was way back before I knew I was an air sign. BB )O(
@midnightsunrising Actually, it's pronounced more like 'sahvin'. It really doesn't matter to them how North Americans pronounce Gaelic words, it's more or less a lost language to them anyway, they honestly don't care. My best friend and her family lived in Coleraine until the early 90's and they thought we were weird for 'celebrating' things like St Paddy's day in Canada. They never paid any attention to it at all until they immigrated here! LOL
@rhondam1970 There is a strong movement in Ireland to revive Gaelic. In fact, everything (road signs, gov't brochures, etc...) in Ireland is written in both Gaelic (or Irish, as the locals say) and English and there are Gaelic television and radio stations...to say it is a lost language and that no one cares is incorrect.
@MsBlisscoach With the revival movement having started in the mid 1800's and today's population of Irish people actually speaking the language at only 1.6%, I'd still say that the average Irish person doesn't care. What really is relevant to their daily lives is what the IRA is up to. I'm very close to 3 families of 'locals' who immigrated here after having lost loved ones in bombings in the 80's and 90's. Believe me, they really don't give a damn how we pronounce Samhain over here. ;D
@rhondam1970 You are probably right. I would love to learn Gaelic, and love it when my fiance talks to me in Gaelic, it's such a beautiful language...when we spend time in Ireland, I just want to sit and listen to them speak Gaelic all day long. What's really cool, though, is to hear the children speak it, as they have resumed teaching it in the schools now. From my observation and personal experience, correct pronunciation is a matter of national pride.
@rhondam1970 Since the late 90s and during the reign of the Celtic Tiger, people have been more concerned about bringing back traditions of old. In 2005, the IRA announced an end of operations and are actually working with officials on both sides to ensure a peaceful nation. The fine citizens of Ireland are not as concerned about the IRA these days as they would have been prior.
around 6:33 something went by your window outside and totally freaked me out. lol. I love these lessons TipToe :) So insightful and beautiful! I'm working on my book of shadows (which I made a VR to you a while back in regard to) and have been putting a few things in from your videos that resonate with me and the more I learn- the more I think I could have been considered a solitary witch for a long time. A good video topic (I think) could be signs u r a solitary witch. Thx 4 everything TipToe:)
Ok Lesson 3 it's a Great Vid I've got soo much studing going on this year. It's like I have classes in everything right now. I've been studing along with The Inner Temple which I've been through the basics before, but this time is alittle different. I've got 2 journals going on, I have 2 others, one is my everyday BOS and the second is my everything notebook. I've been Journaling for years and very enjoy it. Meditation & Devotional work getting better with it. Just Loving this Spiritual Journey
I've always connected more with Fire than Earth but I'm an Earth sign. Fire has always just called to me. But, Earth and Water are equal but not far behind Fire. LOL
I checked out the Astro Key, and it says that my element is Fire (I'm a Leo), but I feel more connected to the Earth. The Earth speaks to me, and I feel very comfortable with the Earth. So the point of this whole comment is that should I go to the element that I'm supposed to be with, or should I stay with the element I'm more connected with?
@WiccasFireFaery Always do what you feel is right. Thats why theres SO many different ways to do things in Witchcraft, its both its blessing and its curse you could say. My "sign" is fire, but since i was 6 ive been studying magick, and ive Always been connected to Water. I know a lot of people who arnt their zodiac sign. But then there are people who do feel the same as their sign. Meditate on it, do a ritual for each one, and go with your heart on what you feel more draw to.
Tiptoe Earth child like myself. How cool is that !!!! The vibes of the earth are so grounded with in me O.K Pun intended put you know me Lol I myself have a very strong devotion to nature, as one who observes the life cycles in all the elements......for Life comes from the earth an returns to the earth....
Ah, hope you don't mind the shameless promotion, but I dreamt this song into existence: Repetitive Rhythmic Drum Track Dreaming, so I made it real, and put it up on my YouTube channel.
It's intentionally repetitive and very Earthy (and only short) - I got the feeling from the dream that it's intended to help people cope with the busy hustle and bustle of everyday city life.
Good info. Great curtains :D I also use the fairy deck that is on your desk. Lots of love from Turkey and blessed be. I always find western understanding of magic really interesting.
@joeunderwearstank
dude whats wrong with you?
Dee looks Amazing, she looks even bettter than she did. She's an amazing Witch and it clearly shows in her looks and her personality.

Just for future reference, Dee: "Samhain" is irish gaelic, where "mh" makes a "w" sound.
