Yes, it mounts exactly the same as the OEM unit.

Respond to this video... The HMF exhaust has been manufactured to duplicate the original exhaust mounting, it requires no modification to the frame or suspension, in fact the OEM heat shield still fits perfectly.

The original unit only allowed the bike to hit around 53 mph with stock gearing. Installation of the exhaust and removal of the OEM air intake bumped the bike to 62 mph with no other modifications.
