my soldier just came home 2 weeks ago on leave and left late last night to go back to iraq. I miss him and love him with all of my heart. Deployments are the hardest part of our relationship especially with a child on the way but we love eachother more than life. I hate the fact that he's gone but he's serving his country, that fact i can't argue with.

my daddy has been in kuwait, iraq, and afghanistan. he has been there since i was seven. most ppl don't understand what i go through. i've been diagnosed with depression because of how much i greive for my daddy. all i can say is hold your parents close. i need my daddy more than anything, and some ppl are lucky to have that.

When i went to iraq, i saw a children and she reminded me of my daughter so when i gave her a hug it brought tears to my eyes cause she hugged me exactly the same way hayley hugs me, and when i got home 2 months ago she gave me the biggest hug ever and said she'll never let me go back again. I would never have made it back if it wasn't for my wife niki and my daughter hayley. I love you both so much.

This song reminds me of my Father and Brother we all served in 2004 in Iraq they were both killed while we were on a routine mission we were ambushed my brother being shot in the back and my Father while pushing me out of the way was sprayed by machine gun fire, I stayed with my father for 5 min while he took his last breathe in my arms an told me he was proud of me RIP DAD(Troy Michael Leseney Sr. STF SGT.) thanks 4 this vid. it really comforts the pain of loseing ur dad in kindergarden 2 some terrorest attack. all i wish was to say to him b4 he died was that i loved him that morning.I really miss him after 7 years. and 9/11 was my 6th birthday. now its been many birthdays without him.
