yea they are both natural enemies, but hyenas i think are more of a natural enemy as opposed to the cape buffalo because the buffalo is really what the lions hunt and prey on, while lions dont normally try to "prey" on hyenas. they normally just fight them over territory and food and what not... that makes them enemies and hate each other. but the cape buffalo are some wicked animals thats for sure lol.

I agree they are 'enemies' in the natural sense, but I don't for a moment think Buffalo hate hate lions, I don't think these animal can experience hate (they try to kill them out of instinct), saying they can hate is anthropomorphizing them far too much. And I don't think hyenas and lions hate each other either, hate is pretty much a purely human characteristic.
