These guys are pretty terrible.

Very poor use of a lot of items (esp red shells), Koopa walks into a green shell that he had like 3 seconds to react to, and especially Koopa missed a ton of items. He drifted and overshot or undershot the question mark (without an item) an embarrassing number of times.

You said you played with your sister when you were a child. All you need to do is open up UDP port 7845 on your firewall or login to a Hamachi server if you don't know how to change your firewall. Then you can download ZSNES 1.42 and use zbattle or classic gaming arena to connect for players.

The funny part, the fact that they miss so much red shells is not because the opponent dodges, with items or jumps or drifts, but just because they don't know how to fire it properly, and not to mention the timing

You're from Europe, which means you play on the version that runs at 50Hz instead of 60Hz. You can't talk unless you post a video showing you're that much better. You would die playing on the NTSC version.
