when you tie down the straps on the handlebars do they have to be really really tight? i have one of these and i always tie'em down real tight cus i trip out about them comin undone but im also worried about the fork seals when its really tight.
@AceLockCo ya i use a 3rd strap around the frame now and i got that thing that goes between the front fender and wheel so it doesnt compress the forks that much
@sonic2005018 they usually only make it for vehicles with the standard truck sized hitch.. usually an suv has the full 2 or so inch receiver so my guess is yes

@lomparti I feel the same way. I would rather use tight straps on the frame and then some snug back up straps to the handlebars.

@lomparti I didn't know they had a part that prevents the forks from compressing. That is a great idea. I will cut a 4x4 post and fit one in there.
