@spforsupergringo1980 correct opel has been made by GM since WWII, most parts are GM, e.g. master cylinder, brakes, engine parts etc... all have the GM branding. Vauxhall is just a brand not a car. It's an Opel with Vauxhall badge. Vauxhall has not been made since GM took them over around WWII. the only thing thats Vauxhall on the car is the badge and tappet cover.

The cost of bringing the level of equipment in the 335 up to the standards that the Vauxhall comes with: 100.000

Even if the price difference is only 1K in the UK it is just plain stupid to compare these two cars without mentioning that the Vauxhall comes with a VERY solid list of equipment whereas the 335 needs a lot of money to get up to par.

Also, shouldn't this car be matched against the 5-series?

i cannot get my head around how also this supposedly honorable TV-show doesn't get its facts right. 172 feet (52.4 m) IS NOT by far the longest jump in a rally car. Not to mention that rally car jumps ought to be measured (unofficially) during live events and not staged. The longest jump in a WRC competition is set by Armin Schwartz 73.5 m (241 ft) in rally Portugal in 2001.

Now i got to watching the video again and it p****d me off even more. Block called arcade game Dirt a sim (simulation) and "real good representation of real life". This is OUTRAGEOUS! Dirt although having great graphics and variation IS NOT a simulation and does not attempt to create real life physics environment. Unlike Richard Burns Rally which actually is a simulation rally game and can be used a core for a rally driving experience.

I was referring to the VXR8 mate, I realise the insignia is german, and the doors on the insignia will probably be copied by Holden from the insignia over to the commodore, and Holden will give it a nose and tail job to make it look like a Holden as opposed to a Opel and call it a "all new commodore"; and they spend millions of AUD designing a door handle...
