  • Wow, a few artists, such as Rosenthal and Lhevinne have recorded better individual preludes but this is the best set I think I've heard. (I'm writing this after listening to all 4 videos) #7 is particularly lovely.

  • @thelio1000 Not really a mistake.... if you mean the chord on beat 2 four bars from the end. The Klindworth edition, based on one of Chopin's several autograph versions, shows the higher note as G#, instead of F#. I actually like it better LOL

  • @cp2682 The first 15 that were recorded on December 29, 1948. 20-22 are from a day later on December 30, 1948. 16-19 and 23, 24 are from September 20, 1949. 

  • prelude #a in cmaj is revelatory. (interestingly out of order!)
