Hey I have a problem with my charging port. It wont work. Since I cant root my phone without the charging port I need it replaced. No one here in Memphis will do it. Can you do a video on how to change it out? I would really appreciate it. If you do I will post ur website on every group I belong to concerning the evo ( which is a lot bc I have been trying to find a solution)...Thanks...

@Thickandsexyassbbw its pretty simple im about to do it.. all you have to do is buy the chargin port off line . desolder the old one nd put a new one on... atleast that what i belive so. pretty self explanatory

Purchased 10 HTC EVOs for business use through Sprint Corporate Sales Oct 2010. Today (April 21st) 7 out of 10 are bad with micro USB charging issues, none can be charged nor synced via USB because it's the USB ports that are apparently loose.

Sprint was ZERO help in remedying this costly situation and blamed all of the issues on "customer abuse?!"

I think the problem is a random soldering flaw, we switched to EVO from trusty Palm Treo 755p's which all still work, where's the "abuse" with those?

never buy any HTC. I tryed two different products. its broken. bad design flaws. There is no service. Dhe to the fucking fact I never do contract.
