It a myth that uninstalling programs make your system faster.They only make your system faster if they were eating cpu cycles (backgroudn processes, services, drivers, etc). Most applications however don't, so even uninstalling a program like Photoshop will give no performance benefit. Some say it makes your registry smaller, trust me, the registry is pretty much cached all the time, you won't notice any difference.
