You can still get some of these games on compilations. For example, STH2, STH3, and Comix Zone are all on the Sonic Mega Collection Plus for the PS2 and XBox and a similar collection is also out for the GameCube.

100% right dude, I remember the good days of mk3 ultiamte, sonic 3, mutant football, jurrasic park, madden 95, golden axe, and even boogerman! and ever since i havent had half as much fun with the new shit, it seems like its way to competetive now "YA FUCKIN NOOB!!!" you know what im talking about. I missed the good old days of 2 player contra and 1 on 1 street fighter till your thumbs were sore. So just recently I got rid of my old shit and now have a genesis with the uber shit!

Power Rangers (An exceptionally fun, if easy beat-'em up), Shinobi III, and Sonic 2 are some of my favorite games. And still are. Sitting proudly by my Nintendo Wii is my Genesis, along with the 7 games I grew up with.

no, hes talking about people who would rather play the bloodless MK for the SNES over the Genesis version because of the graphics, and those people that dont like a game because the graphics aren't good. the Sega found a half way mark between too much Graphics and too little and it was very popular. I layed away a Sega CD too :)

I note how most of the games that were featured here had some sort of platform element... the Commodore Amiga was the best 16-bit machine despite being 6 years older than both the Genesis and SNES.

Sega days are over. I loved Shinobi, Mortal Kombat, Sonic 2, Axe warrior,so many titles. Nowadays, people think brilliant graphics = brilliant game. They are wrong. Remember Jaguar, ahead of time, more powerful than Playstation, yet it flopped for some reason. Perhaps to do with the games. Love this tribute video. Given it five star rating
