You really don't want to use keystone adjustments. You want optical correction. On most good projectors keystone adjustments won't even be needed unless you have a super ridiculous angle that you are mounting the projector at. You should always look for a projector that can use lens adjustments to keystone optically and NOT digitally through the menu options.
I just cant seem to figure out why you should buy an expensive hdmi cable. Its a digital signal so how does it make any difference? The signal either gets there or doesnt.
@greenstringbean2009 There is two category of HDMI cables: Standart and High-speed. When you don't have enough speed to transfer all this digital shit you got noise and some white strokes on the edges on your picture. That's why you should get High-speed cable, which is more expensive of course, but provide a best quality you could get through HDMI.
@greenstringbean2009 There are "high speed" HDMI cables that are the same price as "standard." Remember, it is all digital so either it works or it doesn't Always buy the cheapest cable you can find. There is absolutely no reason to buy expensive HDMI cables. Check monoprice for the best deals. The $199 HDMI cables at Best Buy are just for the ignorant consumers. A $5 hdmi cable will perform the exact same way.
How do I stop the sound from the optoma gt720 and have it go to my receiver for surround sound? Is this done via hdmi cable or through the audio out plug?
I have a optoma gt720 and I love it---HOWEVER I do have a few questions.
1) the machine kicks out alot of heat from the bulb. should I blow a fan on it? At this time it is not mounted on the ceiling. I have it on a end table Can I blow a fan on the air intake side to help cool the bulb down when I turn it off?
2) I am still trying to adjust my screen on the wall. It still looks like a trapezoid the projector is about 15 feet away from the wall... any suggestions?

Incorrect, a 3 chip DLP is the SECOND best projector you can buy. A 9" CRT Projector (Sony G90) is the BEST you can buy.
