Spaniards conquered Argentina but were more interested in Peru, Mexico and Cuba. So, what is now argentina started being populated by emigrants from different Europeans countries. Argentineans do not believe they are better than others. The truth is that most argentineans descend from emigrants. There are a greater % of european in Argentina than in the USA. However, argentineans considered themselves Latin Americans because Latin America is a region & a culture and not a race.
