Even if. What cuda does? It cant run x86 applications, it could run Win Mobile or Linux on which I doubt it could do anything better than on any regullar CPU. It might be usefull for some segment but words like taking over the CPU is BS. Sry. :o)
And at one point in time, someone also said that 64k RAM was good enough.
As technology progresses, so does what we use. A GPU can do a lot of things better than a CPU. x86 will last as long as it's good enough. Once something better comes along, it will go the way of the dodo. Over time, yes, but it will happen.
I dont understand a word the guy is talking about indeed Id say hes cursing about nvidia so bad. I hope nvidia will crash soon. AMD dont need them. Intel wont give them license to make their mobos with LGA sockets anymore, last shit nvidia makes known as ION and GPUs for PCIe x16 are only a matter of time pushed out by AMD and Intels more developed GPUs and chipsets which are btw on the way. Maybe the Via along vith nvidia would be efficient and well known, not for me thouh! They killed 3DFX!
