no i race 125 b b/c down here in the south they have no a class and when i turn 16 i have to run pro i jus say it's the rider b/c i can battle with zack on a 2 stroke but i can battle with him longer on a 4 stroke i am just more consistant on a 4 stroke that's all ..personaly i think 2 stroke's are faster but 4 stroke's have more power and torq and ppl mistake that for being faster i like both 2 stroke's and 4 stroke's is ur choise wat u want to run run it and good luck!!!

My buddy and i were both on yz125s quite a while back and i could leave him pretty easily. he got a 250f and was quite noticeably harder to pass in some areas, but when i also got on one, i still couldn't leave him in the dust like i could before, more consistent maybe. so i'd say the slower you are, the more 4 strokes help.

If 2 strokes were superior, we would all be riding them now and woudln't be having this conversation. Granted, they both have their pros and cons, but 4 strokes have an edge. If would like to dispute, I will remind you to look at the lineup in any major motocross event. They all ride 4 strokes...including the privateers.

Again, you may argue that the displacement rules are unfair. The bigger 2 strokes may have more power, but laptimes ALWAYS favor the 4 stroke.
