My dislike 4 K/D doesn't only spring from the way they did Bren really. That was the 1st reason, but beyond that, I just never felt the love for them that I felt for him & Brenda. Even Luke once stated that it was always very real with him & Shannen. The majority of K/D fans either started watching from the later seasons or like the lusty thing between them that they consider hot, but they just make me sick 2gether, lol. I never felt the love I felt 4 Bren&him there & never believed them. Sorry!
I always thought this song worked better for Brenda & Dylan. And isn't the scene where Iris tells Dylan he seems happy from a different season than 3 when Brenda's gone because I think I remember Iris comforting Brenda that season & telling her that her relationship with Dylan wasn't over?
Nope, the scene between Dylan and Iris is season 3 episode "parental guidance suggested". Dylan and Kelly were clearly together in that episode and Iris comments on Dylan happy. He then says a lot of things have fallen into place for me. Iris suggests Kelly and Dylan replies, "Yeah, she is part of it."
Your are right about Iris comforting Brenda. She gave her a crystal and helped her feel better. That is the same episode.

Yeah, It came as a shock for Iris to see Dylan with Kelly and not Brenda. Iris and Brenda did have a bond from season 2 when Dylan was getting into fights at bars and started drinking. But I find it so funny that when Iris makes her return in season 5, when Dylan is on the same "drinking/drugs" path, Iris Says nothing about Brenda. Kelly is the one who spoke with Iris, & Iris even was great-ful to Val. So, how close could they have been? I guess outta state, outta mind.
Exactly. She had thought Brenda was the one because she had kept him sober and that Kelly was just a distraction. But Dylan was enough of a man and in love with Kelly, so he stood up to her. And when Iris realized how much they really cared for each other, then she chastises him for breaking up with Kelly in S5. And this time she's right because he later agrees that everything fell apart when they broke up.
And actually, if we're being technical, it seemed everything started falling a part after he left Brenda(lol). His dad died after that. Kelly starts nagging him through the entire season 4 & he gets conned by ericas mom. Wouldn't surprise me if he was suppose2tell Bren his life fell apart after she left, but they made him say it to Kel because Bren was gone. Lol
He was happy after his father died because KELLY had proven to him that he wanted to be alive, that he was happy to be alive. This is a KD vid. People here like KD. Let's leave it at that.
Um, really not trying to be funny but if you're honest, I think we know that if Brenda was still there, they would've shown Iris & Bren doing things together again like they always did when Iris visited(graduation,season2,the crystal)... duhh. We know she said nothing about her because she wasn't there... duhh! Just like Dylan had fantasies with everyone he knew in the fantasy except for Brenda because she wasn't there... duhh. Why would Val make it in his fantasy on the hospital bed & not Bren?
And Val is like family with Brenda & the walshes so of course, she's gonna be nice to her, but we know if Bren was there, it would've been Brenda she was talking too & it wasn't just a shock seeing him with Kel instead of Brenda, Iris wanted them 2 get back 2gether which is why she looked so happy when she walked in on them in his apartment before graduation, but nothing really matters2me after Bren was gone because it wasn't 100% original anyway.The writers did what they had too.
That just made me so giddy. I hope you make a dozen of these. I don't think I've ever seen anything that so clearly illustrated how powerful their love was and how truly they were soulmates by S3 than this video right here. It reaffirmed to me that no matter how SD's contract would have played out, K/D would still have been endgame. Damn, how could they not be? PERFECT!! I really love this, Bella.
