hey silvertongue, where in the central valley are you? im a fresno man my self... anyways what i came on here to say was SICK BIKE! im in the process of getting my finances together for a 2012 big blue pearl forty eight... maybe sometime if your ever in the area i could check out your sporty? stay safe bro. have fun!
@lcplcalifornia89 I'm out in the Modesto area bro. I have subscribed to your channel so make sure you get that bike and make it even sicker than mine, lol. My pops lives in Visalia so I usually take a trip down through Fresno every once in a while so maybe I'll catch up with you some time. If you ever have any questions feel free to ask.
@SilverTongueJona10 i have questions coming out of my ears lol here we go; how do you enjoy the bike? is there anything you wish was different? and did you install everything yourself?
@lcplcalifornia89 love love love the bike. Recently swapped for an Iron seat cause I slid on the stock one when going over bumps, accelerating hard or going 80+, and I kinda wish I had an Iron or Nightster tank cause the 2.1 gallon sucks on longer rides, but the look of it is much better than the 3.3's so I'm still debating. I ordered the perf parts through Eastern Performance on ebay at a discount and had a local shop install for about $250.
@lcplcalifornia89 keep in mind that you can negotiate with the dealer to swap the tank and seat for you and maybe other parts. Just depends on if you want to. I wish I had known that myself before I bought mine. The stock seat and tank are just part of the look and are fantastic...but if you plan to ride longer rides it may be nice to get a nightster/iron tank and seat.
Looks familiar. Lol. Looks good, I know you will love it. I just got a 2011 street glide and done some serious mods. I will post some more videos soon. Still love my 48 though.
@apprasr Haha thanks man, I told you that you had me sold on that setup. The only difference was I decided to go with a PCV after talking to my mechanic. He had told me that some of his customers were having issues with them but the real problem was that Harley's customer service was not supporting it very good when the mechanics called with questions. I ended up getting about the same performance curves as you so I am really happy with the outcome. Can't wait to see your new setup vid.
