I use ONLY progressive, but on the HV30 it's not native...

@joblessalex 30 fps looks too much like video.... and 24fps is not PAL. That is 25 fps. Modern Super16mm cameras have the same shooting speed.

No. 24p is just preferred by a lot of people because it's the same speed as film. I haven't tried shooting anything other than 60i but I'll probably try 30p soon.

Did you use cinemode ot tv mode for this. If tv mode, what shutter speed? and also did you change the exposure setting?
