  • Wouldn't you get cancer by doing this without the suit?

I mean your next to a quite a bit of a motherfucking radioactive piece of material.

    BTW great video

  • @DrStranger666

If he had very large quantities maybe, but with what's shown in the video he'd need to eat some of it to get cancer.

  • I have the same one, where did you get the speaker? Mine makes no noise.

  • Nice video. Can the CDV-700 detect X-rays?

  • @wojtuniakfrog A CD v-700 has a Geiger Meuller tube, so it can detect X-rays as long as they are strong enough and of enough intensity. An X-ray is the same thing as a gamma ray, essentially. Although, X-rays are often less powerful and harder to pickup. I typically find X-rays below 100 KeV. They cause my detector all sorts of issues lol

  • @antiprotons OK, thanks. The challenge now is finding a CDV-700. :)

  • @wojtuniakfrog Are you looking for a CD v-700 because you want that specific unit, or are you just looking for a Geiger counter, in general? Also, might I ask, what is the concern over X-Rays?

I bought my unit for a good source on eBay, Hughescoinsandcollectables. They sell good units, fully refurbished.

  • @antiprotons I was looking for that specific unit.

  • The the noise that sounds like a popcorn machine is giving a reference to what your organs are doing. lol :D

  • I love radioactive rock samples!!! I do not own anything that hot, though. lol

  • not as bad as fiestaware though!

  • lol

I love the music and the epic clicking sound. My GM click too, but it's pezzo sounding and not so nice.

  • Aww snap yo. You got that uranium, now all you need are some aluminum tubes and a poor 3rd world county and you would be set for life.

  • why is the uranium on ebay no matter how not dangerous honestly?

  • you keep playing with that ore your balls will fall off. cant you be like other kids and play with fire crackers?

  • any chance of Rad poisoning? that gieger counter is going mad lol id be reluctant to touch it?

  • lol you must have some training or special privileges to have uranium ore???????? please reply

  • @Appenzeller92 Hi, not at all I found it on ebay :)

But I bought it a few years ago, and it's more expensive now, about 100$ a piece vs 4$ in 2005.

  • @darkdjo Lol, not to judge you.. But, you mean 10-20$ for a rock on ebay now... None go up to even 35$.. :/

  • if you put it on your shelf to sit (uranium ore) can i get radiation sickness?

  • Wow, meter is on 100x!

  • this is a really cool video- love the music! what's the name of the song!

  • @QEII Hi, many thanks, music is by Henry Mancini & His Orchestra - Something for Cat

  • Just got ENI same as yours. Love the way you used music in your video.

    Philip Neidlinger

  • What is the music?

  • Congrats! You have MEGACANCER lol but where'd you buy the geiger counter?

    ...I WANT ONE SO BAD

  • @tornadomad On ebay, for about 60$ + shipment. But no, radiations are ridiculous at distance, not significatively different from normal level. You just have to not eat this mineral LOL

  • @darkdjo i was planning on making a smoothie with it, but if you say so...

  • ooh cool video.

ps: u put this video in a day of my B-day.

  • ???????

  • Very cool. My friend has a model just like that geiger counter.

  • After the seller it's Schroeckingerite: it contains about 30% of U3O8 so it isn't a major uranium ore but my sample is quite big.

  • I have bought it on eBay :)

  • where caught this instrument?

Ps: The music is very cool ;-)
