Just like the Joker to leave us with a middle finger. I don't think it will be "Arkham World" but I know a third game is coming. Maybe Arkham War or Arkham End. Something that sounds grant to end on.
I would surely love for them to make a 3rd game, but at the rate they were axing the villians in City, it would be hard to live up to the image that the previous 2 games set. Still, The Riddler and Scarecrow haven't played a main part yet.
haha i dont think anyone noticed, but at the beggining of the video, the dead guy laying on the floor next to joker looks like batman. the legs look like his. theyre the same boots, the legs are all muscular and everything. just wanted to point it out. :)
ok i found all the hints on the internet.. there IS a new batman coming. scarecrow will be in it in prob a big role. but the joker i have no idea... HOPE SO!
it may not be called Arkham world but I do see room for a 3rd game, like if you complete the side mission the ID theift, and some characters torwards the end kinda dissappear, ras al ghul, without a trace, Since Mark Hamill "left" the joker role again, Joker throws the script away. But there is room though. who knows the next main villian may be Scarecrow seeing as how he's left behind so much!
@aghostshell That and i just remembered. Dick is nightwing (1st robin) and Tim (the 3rd Robin) is shown so also a possibilty for Jason who was the 2nd and known as Red hood to appear.
Does anybody actually think the next one's going to be titled Arkham World? Movies and games always have a fake title to keep spoilers from leaking out. Titles also often give away the plot (e.g. Harry Potter and the Order of the Phoenix).
I think it will be Arkham World. It would be a fitting for the progression. First just the Asylum, then the scope widens to the entire City. What should be next? The world :-o
This all but confirms Joker is coming back in the next game. Hamill said Arkham City was his last time portraying the character, and yet he records an acceptance speech? I doubt he would come out of retirement for something so insignificant. He never retired. He's just throwing off the fans.
@MrPoetryIneMotion Why the hate? Heath Ledger's portrayal of the Joker was great. I'll always appreciate Hamill's portrayal, because I grew up with it, but show respect where it is due.
@MrPoetryIneMotion Depends how you look at it. Mark is amazing and i have loved all his work and on the games. However if Heath had been alive and did do the game it would be next level twisted. There would be no happy jokes, it would be cut throat terror and murder. Mark is more funny and actually the joker. Heath played a psychopath who was scary. Depends what you like but there both fantastic
I'd kinda love for them to actually base the game in Gotham or Metropolis though.
