I thought I was stuck with 2 very large PowerPC paperweights :P I've been pissed how Apple has been screwing their loyal customers I got stuck with an ADC display then I had to upgrade to 10.5 to use my sons iPod but, PC users could still use XP. Now they stopped supporting PPC users, where is their loyalty. Thanks again, hope my donation helped a little. Not sure how much a micro is :P

Not only did I add this to my G4 at home but the one at the office. Also my co-worker commented on her not being able to play videos on her computer so I sent her the download and showed her how to install it. Worked like a charm. I don't use Foxfire that often but it works just fine on Safari

@jneritello86 Firefox is iffy at best. Not much works with it. Try updating and resetting firefox.

I tried to do the same with version 9,0,280,0 but simply editing the plist file doesn't work. Is there some binary patching involved with the Contents/MacOS/Flash Player executable itself?

Could you please make a hacked version with latest player 9? It seems to me it works better on my G5... many videos are just stuck at loading with Flash 10, but they work fine in Flash 9. Others are reporting the version problem so... can I get the best of both? :)

@echoes89 Its not that simple unfortunately, websites use multiple ways of checking FLASH version, so its a bit tricky. Let me see what I can cook up with 9. : )

@fanathestrange Megavideo uses a custom flash player that does not work right on Macs. There are ways, you can Google it. : )

@drewlour The slowdown is because now you can watch videos. Empty the Safari cache and restart. Nothing is different in this Flash player over what you had.

@babe0gangsterz 10.6??? How are you running 10.6 on PPC? This fix is only for PPC not Intel. If you are running 10.6 then you have an INTEL Mac and you don't need this. You can download the latest Flash from Adobe. ; )

@TanimewatcherT Megavideo never worked on my Mac. They use a proprietary video player which does not work well with Macs, even Intel Macs. There are ways around it... Google it. Thanks.
